Welcome to the new and improved Glasgow Hornets Website. You will be able to find more information readily about the Glasgow Hornets and also for all those budding American Football fans there is also information about Flag Football. If you would like to join or try it out just come along to one of our practices.
Weekly Fees As of the 5th April the weekly fees will rise by 50p to £2.50. BAFL This year BAFL will be running the league for all disciplines. Flag and Kitted and at all levels. This in turn will mean that we will have a Scottish, English champion and then there will be a UK champion. The format is a bit hazzy but looks like day tournaments. I have asked the questions but had no responses. New Forum Well as you probably know the forum had a melt down, I did manage to get it working, but alas it has not worked since. Why do I bother trying to update it?. So I have a new one up and running. If you could all re-register please. Remember to update your profile with your Birthday aswell please. Seniors Unfortunatley we have lost a lot of seniors this season due to unforseen circumstances. If any one would like to join the ranks please get in touch. BAFL Fees. The fees are as follows, £32 for seniors £22 for everyone else. If you are a new member please bring with you a passport size photo and a photocopy of your birth cert. League Games This season is going to be a very hectic schedule. At present the seniors have 18 leagues to fulfil by the end of August. The Junior and Youths will have to fulfil their schedule by the same time. I do not know how many games you have as of yet.

Welcome of Andrew Wallace I would like for you all the welcome Andrew Wallace in to the Glasgow Hornets, he will be a very useful addition to the Hornets staff. You will see him taking photos for the website and gallery over the coming season. Paintballing 19th July On Saturday the 19th July. There will be another chance to go paintballing. I have not got prices yet but once I do I will let you know. You need to be over 14. New Coaches The Glasgow Hornets have some vacancies for assistant coaches. If you think you are able and can committ to every Saturday between 12pm - 2pm. Please do not hesitate to email or call 07876371797 if you have any questions or would like to apply for the vacancy. Need to be over 18 to apply. Junior - Assistant Coach Youth - Assistant Coach Hornets New Arrival Well it is the news you all have been waiting on, Yvonne gave birth to a wee girl on Saturday 3rd February at 6:30am, she weighs 7lb 7 and her name is Erin. Both mum and baby are doing great, and as for me well I am the happiest dad in the world :D. Remember to bring gum shields and plastic studded football boots if you wish to train and play any games. This is a reminder for next season that no pockets are allowed when playing games or even at practice. You CANNOT wear anything that has pockets even if they are zipped!!. |
